Biography

Dr. Mourão is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism at MSU. Her research focuses on the relationship between journalism, technology, and politics in the US and Latin America. Employing quantitative and qualitative methods, her projects analyze how mainstream and non-mainstream reporters cover political events, including elections and protests.
