Biography

Jairo Lugo-Ocando, PhD worked previously as a journalist in Latin America. He has been awarded several research grants over the years. His main research examines the news media, poverty and development. His latest book, Foreign Aid and Journalism in the Global South (Lexington Books) came out in 2020.
